Survey Overview:

Welcome to the Online MHA Hospital Salary Survey. We appreciate you taking the time to complete our annual survey. This site has been developed to simplify and streamline the survey process while at the same time enhancing the functionality and value of the survey and results.

If you are logging-on for the first time, please use the password provided to you by MHA. Once you are logged in, for security purposes, you will be prompted to change your login. There are no restriction on the password you choose however, it is mandatory your Login Name is your email address.

After creating a new login you are now on the Data Collection page. The survey contains 7 sections. To begin entering data on any of the sections click “Start Section” button to the right of the section title. You can always return to this page by clicking the “back” button on the upper right of the page. The Management, Non-Management and Compensation Practices / Vacancy Rates sections each have their own set of specific directions and which can be accessed by clicking on “Directions” button on their data entry form.

The entire survey does not have to be completed at the same time. You can go from one section to another as the information becomes available to you. When all section of the survey have been completed, click "Submit Survey” button on the Data Collection page and MHA will be notified that your survey is completed and all data has been collected. You can not submit the completed survey without entering the scope data information in the Salary Administration section.

Please Note: once you submit survey to MHA, your survey is locked and you will need to contact us if it was locked in error and you need to regain access.

ADDED FEATURES:

In an ongoing effort to optimize value and convenience of the survey we have the following additional features:

1. Excel Downloads - the survey can be completed in excel spreadsheet format by downloading each survey section template and forwarding the completed spreadsheets to MHA at surveysupport@mhalink.org.

2. Blue Book - this is a reference guide to healthcare position titles and descriptions that we are currently collecting. If you have any additional positions that you would like to see on next years survey or if you would like to critique a current position’s description or title click on the Blue Book tab and select position type from the pull down menu. Select either add a position or scroll down to the position you would like to critique and click edit. Your suggestions will be sent to MHA for review and consideration. You will receive a confirmation e-mail detailing your proposed changes.
